This training will provide an overview of Neurodiversity and its history. It will cover topics such as the umbrella of Neurodiversity, executive function, and differential diagnosis. Participants will also learn strategies for creating a more inclusive practice. The training will be presented by Samantha Howard.

Get Your Game On! Play Therapy Conceptualizing and Treatment Planning with Board Games
Learn how to adapt board, card, and puzzle games in order to enhance socialization and life skills. Utilize at least three different games to delve into the Therapeutic Powers of Play and the Crucial Cs for conceptualization. Also, engage in discussions and share resources on selecting age and developmentally appropriate games for a range of clients. Lastly, assess barriers and limitations to using games in the playroom.
